1. Kathy Griffin
Kathy Griffin posed with the severed of Donald Trump in a photo shoot that was very much reminiscent of ISIS execution videos and photos.
The shocking and violent image received massive blowback resulting in Griffin losing her prized gig with CNN during their New Year’s Eve broadcast. She was also dropped by a number of sponsors including Squatty Potty as well as a number of casinos and resorts where she was scheduled to perform.
2. Jim Carrey
After Kathy Griffin’s despicable stunt with Donald Trump’s severed head, Jim Carrey tried to defend Griffin and even outdo her.
Carrey told Entertainment Tonight he had a dream about beating President Donald Trump with a golf club.
Madonna joined the anti-Trump Women’s March on Washington in January where she took to the stage and threatened to blow up the White House.
“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I’m outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know that this won’t change anything.”
She then went on to call for revolution.
Are you ready to shake up the world? Welcome to the revolution of love, to the rebellion, to our refusal as women to accept this new age of tyranny, where not just women are in danger but all regionalized people. Where being uniquely different, right now, might truly be considered a crime.”
4. Snoop Dogg
Rapper Snoop Dogg released a music video in March where he pulls out a gun and executes Donald Trump.
Along with executing Donald Trump, Snoop includes lyrics like “f*ck the police” and “I’m from the home of the brave, land of the gang bang.”
Snoop explained why he made the video to Billboard, “I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f*cking clown as president, and the sh*t that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being.”
5. Bow Wow
Snoop Dogg’s nephew, Bow Wow, decided to get in on the action of inciting violence against the President and his wife Melania when he tweeted:
“Ayo Donald Trump shut your punk ass up talking shit about my uncle Snoop Dogg before we pimp your wife and make her work for us.”
You read that right, Bow Wow threatened to forcibly turn Melania into a prostitute and sex slave.
6. Shakespeare in the Park
New York City’s Public Theatre which receives funding from CNN put on a stage production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.However, they dressed up Caesar like Donald Trump with a business suit and the iconic hair and brutally stabbed him to death.
Following the play’s performance a number of advertisers immediately pulled funding including Bank or America and Delta Air Lines. However, CNN continued to fund the project.
7. Rosie O’Donnell
Rosie O’Donnell called for violence before Donald Trump even took his oath of office.
O’Donnell called for martial law to prevent President Trump’s inauguration.
“I FULLY SUPPORT IMPOSING MARTIAL LAW – DELAYING THE INAUGURATION – UNTIL TRUMP IS “CLEARED” OF ALL CHARGES.”
Rosie had also previously tweeted, “DONALD TRUMP IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE – LESS THAN 3 WEEKS TO STOP HIM AMERICA”
8. Sarah Silverman
Not to be outdone by Rosie O’Donnell, Sarah Silverman called for a military coup to overthrow President Donald Trump and his administration in February.
Silverman tweeted, “WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE.”
Silverman supported Bernie Sanders during the election.
9. Charlie Sheen
Following the deaths of actresses Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds, Charlie Sheen took to Twitter to call for President Trump’s death.
10. Mickey Rourke
Iron Man 2 actor Mickey Rourke was ahead of the curve when it comes to celebrities threatening violence against President Donald Trump. Rourke went after Trump in April 2016 where he threatened to beat him with a baseball bat.
He told TMZ, “Donald Trump can go f*ck himself. His wife said, ‘Oh, he’s a tough guy.’ He’s not a tough guy, he’s a bully and a b*tch and he can suck my f*cking d*ck. I’ll meet him in a hotel room any motherf*cking day of the week and give him a Louisville slugger. Kiss my motherf*cking ass you b*tch punk c***sucker.
11. Joss Whedon
The Avengers director has been staunchly anti-Trump even going so far as to create a PSA supporting Hillary Clinton in 2016.
However, he took things to the next level when he went after Speaker of the House Paul Ryan calling for him to be impaled by a rhinoceros.
Whedon tweeted, ” Violence solves nothing. I want a rhino to f*ck @SpeakerRyan to death with its horn because it’s FUNNY, not because he’s a #GOPmurderbro.”
12. Robert De Niro
The Oscar-winning actor threatened to punch President Trump in the face after going on a tirade calling Donald Trump all sorts of nasty names.
“He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, he’s a bullsh*t artist, a mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming society, doesn’t pay his taxes.”
“He’s an embarrassment to this country,” he added. “He talks [about] how he wants to punch people in the face… I’d like to punch him in the face.”
13. Stephen Colbert
Stephen Colbert took things to the next level when he decided to go after Trump advisor Stephen Miller.
Colbert used his platform on CBS’ Late Show to depict Stephen Miller being brutally beaten with a spiked bat by The Walking Dead’s Negan. He then had his head placed on a pike, Game of Thrones style.
14. Larry Wilmore
Before he was let go from Comedy Central, Larry Wilmore fantasized suffocating Donald Trump on his The Nightly Show. In fact, he went out of his way to mention his threat of murder was literal.
“Anyway, since we’re talking about bigotry, we have to mention Donald Trump,” Wilmore said. “Sorry everyone, I don’t wont to give him any more oxygen. That’s not a euphemism by the way; I mean it literally. Somebody get me the pillow they used to kill Scalia, and I’ll do it. I’ll do it!”
After the election, Rapper YG took his Donald Trump hate to the next level. During a concert in December, YG brought out a Donald Trump piñata and had his concert attendees beat the living hell out of it with sticks and bats.
16. Guns N Roses
Not to be outdone by Rapper YG, rock band Guns N Roses led by Axl Rose brought out their own pinata of President Donald Trump during a concert in Mexico.
Axel Rose egged on the crowd telling them to “Express yourselves however you feel.”
Concert goers equipped with makeshift bats then lined up and took turns viciously swinging at the Donald Trump pinata. After they had whacked it into pieces, they threw what was left into the crowd.
17. Marilyn Manson
Hard core rocker Marilyn Manson decided to get political in a music video for his song “Say10” which was released around Election Day.
In the video, Manson rips pages from the Bible while wielding and licking a bloody knife. Eventually, a body is shown of a man in a business suit with a red tie with his head chopped off. It definitely alludes to Donald Trump .
Manson explained the visuals to the Daily Beast, “It’s about the desperate acts of people who believe something that is preached by an unbeliever.”
18. Will Smith
Suicide Squad actor Will Smith advocated for the cleansing of Donald Trump and his supporters.
While promoting Suicide Squad in Dubai in August of last year, Smith said, “As painful as it is to hear Donald Trump talk and as embarrassing as it is as an American to hear him talk, I think it’s good. We get to hear it. We get to know who people really are and now we get to cleanse it out of our country.”
19. Michael Moore
Michael Moore called for violence during President Donald Trump’s Inauguration in a tweet, “Disrupt the Inauguration. The Majority have spoken – by nearly 2.7 million votes &counting! Silence is not an option.”
He then linked to a website stating, “No Peaceful Transition.”
20. Lea DeLaria
Orange is the New Black actress decided to not only threaten President Trump and the GOP with violence but also all white people living in America as well as people who identify as political independents.
DeLaria said, “Pick up a baseball bat and take out every f*cking republican and independent I see #f*cktrump,” “#f*cktheGOP,” #f*ckstraightwhiteamerica” and “#f*ckyourprivilege.”
21. David Simon
David Simon the creator of HBO’s crime drama The Wire encouraged widespread violence and mayhem when he told his followers to pick up bricks if Robert Mueller is fired.
“If Donald Trump fires Robert Mueller and is allowed to do so, pick up a goddamn brick. That’s all that’s left to you.”
